At Tiny Explorers, we believe in the power of sensory play to spark growth, creativity, and connection. We want to create meaningful moments and strong foundations for our tiniest learners.

Growing together from the very beginning

Tiny Explorers was created to provide a space where babies and toddlers can grow, play, and connect through sensory-rich, developmentally appropriate experiences. Drawing on evidence-based approaches in movement and early childhood development, our program is designed to support foundational skills during the most critical early years.

Backed by experience in KinderGym, preschool and school-aged sports, as well as qualifications in Human Movement, Tiny Explorers brings together professional expertise and a passion for nurturing young minds. We aim to provide engaging classes that empower parents and support children as they take their earliest steps toward learning and independence.

 FAQs

  • Tiny Explorers aims to nurture early development through sensory play in a safe, engaging and joyful environment. We create a warm space for you and your little one to connect, laugh, and grow together — away from screens and distractions. Come along and meet like-minded parents and carers. Many friendships start on the mats!

  • Babies can start as early as birth in our Cuddly Cubs class depending on your comfort level. Our program caters to those aged 0 - 2 years old and is broken up into the following age groups: Cuddly Cubs: 0 - 6 months, Curious Crawlers: 6 - 12 months, Wild Walkers: 1 - 2 years old.

You can join at the start of any term (usually 9 or 10 weeks) and we tailor the class to suit the developmental stage of the group

  • All children attending Tiny Explorers must be accompanied by an adult. If you have twins or multiples we would love for you to join us! For safety reasons, we have a ‘one adult per child’ policy and you will be required to bring a support person for each additional child.

Tiny Explorers aims to create quality one on one time for you and your child and does not encourage the attendance of siblings. We understand family life can be busy and on rare occasions a situation may arise where this is impossible and attendance may be permitted. For safety and insurance purposes, siblings cannot participate in the class activities

    • Small playmat (to be placed on top of the Tiny Explorers single mats). We recommend bringing the mat in your NSW Government Baby Bundle Bag or something similar

    • Parents must wear socks during class

    • Nappy bag for those changes- whether its nappies or clothes!

  • Comfortable clothing for both yourself and your child that allows for movement. Active wear recommended - even pants, shorts and tops are fine!
If babies are dressed in bodysuits/ onesies, please ensure that its one with easy access to those tiny feet and toes to fully immerse them in the sensory experiences. Some weeks will incorporate messy play activities ensure spare clothes are on hand during those weeks. We endeavour to advise you prior to attending class.

  • Where only one class is running, makeup lessons are unavailable. An at-home activity lesson plan will be emailed to families to complete at their convenience.

Where multiple classes are running, make up classes are available throughout the term. They are only valid within the term block you are enrolled into and expire after your term finished. Makeup classes are subject to class availability. Where multiple classes have been missed you may be eligible to attend a make-up session in the following term. For families re-enrolling, a maximum of one class credit can be carried over and applied toward the next term.

Claiming Makeup Classes: You are responsible for notifying Tiny Explorers via email if you miss a class and would like to claim a makeup lesson. Minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to be eligible for a makeup lesson.
